Key Account Manager-BGC
The role
As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you will be responsible for driving the overall growth for your overall seller segment and/or assigned category. To succeed in this role, you will need to establish a strong relationship with sellers, acting as an effective and credible partner in enabling and growing their business on Lazada. This can be achieved via individual account management (i.e. for key accounts) or via mass solutions and programs (for mass and long tail accounts).

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
As a KAM, you have complete ownership and full accountability for the business performance of your assigned sellers. To drive sales, order and buyer growth, your functions could include account management, sales analysis, assortment expansion, joint business planning, target and budget setting, selling marketing services, negotiating and launching seller/category specific initiatives, driving seller engagement to the platform and campaigns, tools and program adoption, and optimizing their operations, among others.

To succeed in the role, you should have
- Category and segment knowledge, demonstrating a good understanding of the business and using industry insights to advise and support them to develop and execute their strategy,
- Operational excellence, collaborating internally with other teams, i.e. platform operations, campaign and events, user growth, finance teams, buyer and seller operations, logistics, etc to achieve targets and business growth objectives (DAU, conversion rate, IPV UV, shipped on time, etc.), and
- Strategic leadership and effective partnership, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and ownership, establishing yourself as a credible partner in their business success.
