Responsibilities Provides expert technical guidance and direction for the execution of visits/key leader engagement, and events. Communicates effectively with multiple levels of DoD Headquarters, Embassies, Foreign Visitors, adjacent and subordinate's units, as a direct representative of the CG USAJFKSWCS. Directly prepares, coordinates, executes, and/or assists the tasked entity in the planning of specific portions of itineraries compatible with the scope of the KLE, to include training venues, appropriate briefings, ground and air transportation, billeting, and escort services. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing expert technical guidance and direction for the execution of key leader engagements and events. Directing the coordination, integration, and synchronization of various official and social requirements regarding all matters of support for distinguished visitors (DV) to the Command. Responsible for furnishing feasibility assessments of support requested, analyzing resource and funding requirements, providing guidance and recommending courses of action in support of distinguished visitors (DV) to the Command. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Leadership; Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Time-limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted.
