We need you - a seasoned Kidnap, Ransom, Extortion, and Detention (KRED) and Active Assailant (AA) Underwriter, or someone with relevant underwriting experience, to lead our domestic KRED/AA Underwriting Department. This role requires a sharp, insightful professional keen on growing our business and nurturing client relationships. Please note this hybrid position will be based in the Mt. Kisco, NY, Crisis Management office.

Performance Objectives:
First 30 Days: Familiarize yourself with the team and internal systems, develop an understanding of our policies and coverage nuances.
First 90 Days: Begin actively managing the KRED/AA underwriting department, master our internal systems, consult with our Claims team and external partners, and deepen your policy expertise.
First 6 Months: Manage and evaluate underwriting risks, approve significant policy decisions, and foster profitable relationships with our brokers, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders.
Your Skills & Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or comparable education/experience
Over 6 years of relevant insurance experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality
Superior organizational and analytical skills, demonstrating an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in Office 365

For candidates working in Mt. Kisco, NY the reasonable pay range for this specific position is $115,000 - $160,000 annually. “The salary offered for this specific position is based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company.
