Location : 650 Dudley St., Dorchester, MA Pay Range : $18.00/hr. The main function of the KidSpace Attendant is to provide short-term supervision to the children of members and program participants through engaging activities and programming. QUALIFICATIONS + Keep all areas where participants are located in an organized and clean + Ensure participants safety. + Assist children with self-care (assisting children in the restrooms) as needed. + Lead children through interactive and engaging activities during drop-in open programming and structured activities. + Assist with planning activities and programs for the KidSpace program. + Attend all scheduled staff meetings and management team meetings as required. + Assist with daily reports (attendance and time log) for the program. + See that all injuries for those under your program whether employee, volunteer, visitor, or spectator are reported in a timely manner and according to procedure. + Maintain a safe working environment; report all harmful problems to director supervisor. + Handle disputes with participants/parents in a professional manner. + Perform other duties as assigned. + Must have or be able to acquire within the first 30 days of employment a First Aid & CPR certification. + Must have the ability to work and relate well with people. + Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. + Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
