The Salvation Army’s Kroc Center is hiring a KidSpace Attendant and offers the following benefit package to part-time employees:

Location: 650 Dudley St., Dorchester, MA
Pay Range: $18.00/hr.
The main function of the KidSpace Attendant is to provide short-term supervision to the children of members and program participants through engaging activities and programming.
QUALIFICATIONS
Keep all areas where participants are located in an organized and cleanEnsure participants safety.Assist children with self-care (assisting children in the restrooms) as needed.Lead children through interactive and engaging activities during drop-in open programming and structured activities.Assist with planning activities and programs for the KidSpace program.Attend all scheduled staff meetings and management team meetings as required.Assist with daily reports (attendance and time log) for the program.See that all injuries for those under your program whether employee, volunteer, visitor, or spectator are reported in a timely manner and according to procedure.Maintain a safe working environment; report all harmful problems to director supervisor.Handle disputes with participants/parents in a professional manner.Perform other duties as assigned.Must have or be able to acquire within the first 30 days of employment a First Aid & CPR certification.Must have the ability to work and relate well with people.Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
