Job Title: Kit Assembler

Job Description

The Automated Kit Production department builds kits for clinical trials research, sample collection, and other human sample collection. Employees will be trained across four stations, starting with the 'Kit Cell', and will eventually be cross-trained on all roles within the department.

ResponsibilitiesStand for 12-hour shifts during the initial 2-3 weeks of training.Pick items from bins as indicated by a computer system and pack them into boxes.Label boxes correctly and place them on a conveyor for packing.Work in the 'Popular Pick' station, using a rotating wall of bins to fulfill orders.Perform various tasks on the mezzanine, including packing instruction manuals and building custom orders by hand.Maintain high attention to detail and meet quality and pace standards.Essential SkillsAttention to detailAbility to stand for 12-hour shiftsBasic computer skillsExperience in a fast-paced and high production environmentAbility to lift up to 25 lbs occasionallyAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with healthcare assembly, production, packaging, and inventory managementFamiliarity with RF scan guns and general production environmentsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is clean, organized, and temperature-controlled at 70 degrees or below. Employees may work in a production area with a constant hum of machinery. Standing and sitting tasks will rotate, and employees must wear long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. Headphones are allowed for listening to music or podcasts, but cell phone usage is restricted to prevent distractions. Shifts are 6 PM to 6 AM on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule, with paid breaks and lunch.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $16.75
