Job Description
The Automated KIT Production department builds kits for clinical trials research, sample collection and other human sample collection. New hires will be trained at four different stations, starting with the 'Kit Cell' where they will stand for 12-hour shifts. This job requires good attention to detail and involves repetitive tasks such as picking and packing items as directed by a computer system. Over time, employees will be cross-trained on various roles within the department.
ResponsibilitiesBuild kits for clinical trials and sample collection.Stand for 12-hour shifts during initial training in the 'Kit Cell'.Pick items from bins as directed by a computer system and pack them into boxes.Carefully label and place completed boxes onto a rolling conveyor.Learn and perform tasks at various stations, including PKA, POPULAR PICK, and PACK.Maintain high quality and pace in the pick cell.Essential SkillsAbility to stand for 12-hour shifts.Experience working in a fast-paced, high production environment.Attention to detail.Basic computer skills.Ability to lift up to 25lbs (team lift for anything above 50lbs).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in healthcare assembly, production, or warehouse packing.Familiarity with RF scan guns and inventory stock.Ability to work in a production or warehouse environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean, organized production area with a constant hum of noise. The facility is temperature controlled, kept at 70 degrees or below. Employees must wear long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. Kit builders will rotate jobs every 3 hours, standing up to 12 hours some days. Breaks include two 20-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute paid lunch. The facility has a hot food cafeteria for the day shift. Phones are allowed in pockets for listening to music/podcasts but cannot be used for texting or calls during work hours. Sealed drinks are allowed, but no food.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.75 - $16.75/hr.
