This is a seasonal position that will require living on site at Mah-Kah-Wee and/or Riverpoint Program Centers from Sunday through Friday as assigned. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in food service or in a culinary classroom, be willing to live and sleep in a camp setting, and work long hours while moving throughout the kitchen at a fast-paced level. Job Qualifications Minimum of 16 years of age. - Understanding of the Girl Scout Organization, National Program Portfolio and a willingness to subscribe to the principles expressed in the Promise and Law. - Physical condition which enables the individual to accomplish job duties. - Meet certification requirements for the position as designated by the State, ACA and GSCC. - Previous experience in food service or in a culinary classroom preferred. - Willingness to live and sleep in a camp setting, work long hours while moving throughout the kitchen at a fast-paced level. - Must hold a current Food Handlers Certification or become certified within 30 days of employment. - Must submit a current Health Examination prior to the first day of pre-camp.
