General Summary
Responsible for washing, cleaning, and sanitizing kitchen items. You may also assist with the food preparation process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
All kitchen surfaces and hood vents will be deep cleaned nightly Deep clean of all specialized kitchen equipment and stainless steel surfaces Café furniture will be wiped and vacuumed nightly; furniture will be deep cleaned as necessary Management of all glassware Light dusting of all surfaces Waste removal All surfaces will be wiped on a continual basis Refrigerators will be stocked on a continual basis Glassware inventory will be kept full on a continual basis including using the dishwasher in each pantry to clean glassware throughout the day Stock, maintain, and repair coffee machines Weekly disposal/cleaning of pantry fridges Waste removal Removal of confidential/shredded documentsKnowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs/ladders. Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.Work Experience
Up to 2 years of job-related experience.Education, Licenses and Certification Required:
High School Diploma
