**Job Description** We are seeking a **Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technician** to join our team. This position is responsible for performing skilled maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of commercial kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will possess HVAC Refrigeration Certification and demonstrate expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of kitchen appliances and refrigeration units. **Job Responsibilities** + Lead and perform skilled disassembly, repair, and reassembly of damaged or worn kitchen equipment on-site or in designated areas. + Execute repair operations including rewiring, replacing bearings, bushings, brushes, centrifugal switches, and on-off switches. + Maintain and repair electrical appliances and kitchen equipment such as ovens, food mixers, dishwashers, warmers, food carriers, compactors, and fryers. + Diagnose defects and perform minor to major repairs on refrigeration equipment including air screens, deli coolers, ice machines, and units requiring Freon. + Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. + Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance coverage during non-business hours. + Collaborate with university staff and external contractors to complete repair and maintenance projects. + Provide assessments and recommendations for the purchase of new equipment and facility upgrades. + Assist in training contractors' staff on preventive maintenance practices. **Qualifications** + HVAC Refrigeration Certification (Required). + Proven expertise in kitchen equipment maintenance (Preferred). + Ability to work independently with limited supervision. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. + Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. + Knowledge of safety procedures and precautions to mitigate physical risks. **Education** **About Aramark** **Our Mission** Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
