Responsibilities Plan and direct activities related to food preparation and cooking;Teach cooks to prepare, cook, garnish and present food;Explain new recipes and equipment to the kitchen staff;Maintain a positive work environment;Recruit and hire staff with the approval of the manager or franchisee;Evaluate food and labor needs and costs;Order food, supplies and kitchen equipment;Ensure food quality is up to the standards;Supervise the activities of the kitchen staff;Apply hygiene and sanitation rules as well as occupational health and safety rules. Skills & Qualifications Experience in cooking and/or management;Excellent analytical skills;Excellent ability to work under pressure;Ability to make decisions;Excellent communication skills. ScheduleYour work schedule will be fixed except for overtime. You will have to work evenings, weekends and some holidays. We always remain flexible to balance work, pleasure and personal life.
