Kitchen Supervisor - Ashton Hotel

As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting and participating in the daily culinary operations of the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Participates in production of all food items necessary for operation  Trains and supervises kitchen staff in the proper preparation of menu items, equipment and safety measures. Monitors to ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of food products so as to comply with Health Department regulations, including coverage, labeling, dating and placing items in proper containers to ensure products freshness. Assigns in detail, specific duties to kitchen team members for efficient operation of kitchen and service. Manage inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service. Streamline the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times Working with the Chef and/or Sous Chef to develop and maintain the restaurant menu. Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels. Assists Chef/Sous Chef in overseeing cleanliness and sanitation. Oversee preparation of food in all areas during assigned shift. Communicate any challenges to Chef/Sous Chef. Set up Daily Specials and Happy Hour Food according to schedule and spaces.
