Job OverviewJoin our dynamic team as a Kitter, where you'll play a crucial role in our operations. You'll handle everything from receiving products to picking orders, packaging, and preparing shipments. Your ability to perform each essential function independently and satisfactorily will be key to your success.
ResponsibilitiesOrder Fulfillment: Efficiently pick orders and record lot numbers.Surgical Tray Configuration: Perform kitting and configuration of surgical trays.Inventory Management: Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate records.Shipping: Package and prepare outbound shipments.Records Management: Maintain a comprehensive records management system for all shipments and inventory transfers.Inventory Maintenance: Report low inventory levels to purchasing.Customer Service: Assist with inquiries, track packages, and provide shipment details.Field Returns and Servicing: Receive and process surgical instruments and implant trays from field returns, clean and repair instruments, and perform light mechanical assembly.Product Labeling: Print, store, and apply labels to finished products, including performing chemical etching.Inventory Support: Investigate and reconcile count and lot number discrepancies, assist with consigned inventory counts, and move products between inventory locations.Regulatory Compliance: Maintain work areas in compliance with regulatory requirements and support the development of SOPs/Work Instructions.Documentation: Update logs and reports as needed.Essential SkillsExcellent listening and speaking skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to job requirements.Accurate handwriting and record-keeping skills.Good mechanical aptitude.Ability to work independently and stay focused on tasks.Strong follow-through, ability to take direction, and willingness to learn.Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Proficiency in mathematical principles.General office skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Windows, Excel, and Word.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Associate's degree in business with a minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing or medical device preferred.Experience with inventory management, shipping, and receiving.Preferable to have medical device experience in a warehouse or assembly setting.Mechanical assembly, material handling, and packaging experience.Why Work Here?We offer a positive work environment with ample opportunities for growth and development. Work EnvironmentAir-conditioned work environment.Work hours: 9 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday.Some lifting up to 50 lbs and moving kits around.Documentation in the computer to update inventory.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
