Job Title: Kitting Assembler
Job Description

Summary: Working in kit assembly with labeling and assembling of medical diagnostic reagent kits to meet customer demands. Essential duties and responsibilities include validation of materials received and data entry into MRP system, management of cold storage materials, preparing orders, sorting and placing materials, maintaining inventory controls, preparing parcels for shipping, overseeing quantity and part number validation, assisting in KPI tracking, assembling reagent kits, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

ResponsibilitiesValidate materials received and enter data into MRP system.Help manage cold storage materials by keeping refrigerators organized and storing reagent kits properly.Prepare orders by processing requests and work orders; pull materials; pack boxes; place orders in delivery area.Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.Open and tear down crates, pallets, and other containers as needed.Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer.Assist in counting physical inventory.Prepare parcels for shipping.Oversee quantity and part number validation of materials packaged for shipment.Assist Logistics and Warehouse management in tracking KPI’s for warehouse and logistics performance.Assemble reagent kits under supervision in a timely manner.Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations organized.Wear the proper safety equipment.Essential SkillsPackingData entryAssemblyWarehouse managementERP/MRP systemsLabelingQuality controlShippingProficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredEffective verbal and written communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent time management abilitiesAbility to multi-taskAbility to work in a fast-paced, team environmentGreat organizational skills and strong attention to detailAdherence to personnel policies and practices, including attendance and punctualityAbility to meet and exceed deadlinesMathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to stand for extended periodsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

Lab environment with occasional work in refrigerators. Most time spent in the shipping area and at a desk performing computer work. Standard work hours are 6:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
