What You'll Do

You will be a part of BCG’s Knowledge Team helping the Insurance Benchmark team in the execution and delivery of the IT and the Operational Excellence in Insurance Benchmark throughout all the phases of the benchmarking cycle while delivering results to clients and case teams. 

 
For that purpose, we are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail who shares our passion for benchmarking, and the insurance industry and wants to contribute to the digital and operational transformation in a rapidly changing environment. You will work in an international team, playing an active role in delivering and expanding the Insurance Benchmark in our target markets for different client engagements.

Delivering original analysis and addressing benchmark-related requests in a fast-paced environment Collaborating effectively in virtual or in-person team dynamics Interacting with clients and case teams on a day-to-day basis through phone, emails, or face-to-face meetings Analysing quantitative and qualitative data sets to solve problems Structuring, writing, and sharing intellectual property clearly and concisely Linking data analysis to prevailing insurance trends and issues Navigating complexity and ambiguity with a solution-oriented mindset Working with global, virtual teams while maintaining strong attention to detail Suggesting solutions by asking the right questions, even with imperfect information Listening actively and seeking input from others Building strong, collaborative relationships 

What You'll Bring

Master's degree with demonstrated high academic achievement, preferably in (Business) Informatics, Business Mathematics, Business Administration or Economics; candidates witH 1+ year of relevant work experience in the Insurance Industry or within consulting preferred Or Bachelor's degree, with strict minimum of 1+ year consulting experience or 3+ years of relevant industry work experience in the Insurance sector Fluency in German and English, French or Spanish as an additional advantage but not required Proficient MS Office suite knowledge, esp. Excel and PowerPoint Strong problem-solving capabilities

As a Knowledge Analyst you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients. Additional info

The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight. 

 

BCG's Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA’s business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
