What You'll Do

As a Knowledge Director (KD) for BCG's Middle East Implementation Knowledge Team (KT), you will be a key driver towards the business and strategic agenda for the Implementation Client Focus KT hub. You will work closely with Middle East MDPs and ECTs to build the business and client pipeline and deploy a team of Transformation, Operations, Change, and Organization specialists to deliver implementation support to clients, working in partnership with consulting colleagues. You will be responsible for getting the team into business and accountable for key KPIs (team billability, quality etc.). You will also have ownership for the team's development and career progression.

 

Additionally, you will directly contribute to proposals, and client workshops based upon your own domain expertise and extensive experience in one or more Implementation domains. You will support Seat At the Table (SATT) and conferences for Implementation topics In the Middle East, presenting expertise in meetings, conferences and client settings.

 

The BCG Middle East Implementation Client Focus KT hub is made up of specialists affiliated with the Transform, People & Organization (POP), and Operations practice areas who will focus on driving high-value Implementation work following strategy design phases executed by BCG. They will work alongside and under the guidance of senior Consulting Team (CT) and Expert Consulting Team (ECT) colleagues to drive impact through Implementation work with clients. The Implementation Client Focus KT hub is a partnership between BCG's Middle East business, global KT and Practice Areas. As leader of the Implementation Client Focus KT hub, you will be working closely with Middle East leadership, global KT leadership, and leaders of the Transform, POP, and Operations Practice areas to ensure success of the Middle East Implementation business and continued growth of the talented specialists who comprise the team.

 

YOU'RE GOOD AT

 

Building relationships and acting as a thought partner for Implementation MDPs, system MDPs, and PA nodes in order to get KT Into business (e.g., identifying opportunities for client cases and business development Involvement)Engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders, demonstrating expert presence and credibilityLeading the Implementation KT in a highly effective manner, mobilizing the team to deliver on business priorities, commercial impact, and KPIs (e.g., billability, depth of engagement)Leading problem solving and solutioning for clients and driving towards pragmatic solutions tailored to the business contextLeading development and commercialization of knowledge and assets e.g. tools and sector/topic materials in strategy ImplementationActing as a highly effective coach and mentor, guiding team members to continually grow their career and achieve goals efficiently and effectivelyScaling KT to enable accretive growth of the Implementation business In the Middle EastEstablishing partnerships between KT and complementary capability teams and business unitsWorking in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment

What You'll Bring

7+ years consulting experience in relevant strategy implementation-related domains preferredIn lieu of consulting experience, 8+ years minimum industry experience required; 12-14+ years of industry experience strongly preferredBachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)Specialization in relevant strategy Implementation topics preferredFluency in English and ArabicOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and manage internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment

As a Knowledge Director, you will collaborate with global topic leads, global KT leadership, Middle East BCG leaders, and other colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients. The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge proprietary data tools/assets to deliver insight.


BCG's Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function, and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA’s business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
