Knowledge Management Specialist
Overview Nisga'a CIOPS provides hands-on experienced services to civilian and DoD programs worldwide. Delivering highly skilled, cleared personnel who provide services on five continents for a portfolio of customers. Summary: The Knowledge Management Specialist will support the 1 AF enterprise by engaging in knowledge sharing mechanisms that promote data driven decision making and organizational awareness across business lines utilizing systems such as Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, All Partners Area Network (APAN), IntelShare, Cloud One and other developing systems. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Shall assist with strategic management defined as the ability to synthesize data from various sources and provide specific recommendations related to policy and process improvement recommendations to improve organizational performance. Shall apply knowledge of systems such as Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, APAN, IntelShare, Cloud One and other developing systems to develop and deliver training modules for the AFFOR staff to promote a culture of shared knowledge, data driven decision making and organizational awareness across business lines. Shall collect, manage, and analyze data sets from distinct sources, in different formats, and across various classified domains to improve data and information management in support of the command’s mission. Develop the ability to identify and target diverse issues quickly for timely resolutions across the enterprise. Maintain a data and metadata inventory that is accessible to senior leadership. Shall serve as an agency contact for key programmatic decisions in the occupational area related to the component, regional or headquarters organization. Assist with critical analysis of pressing issues and required policy recommendations to management officials in formulating decisions regarding changing responsibilities or business needs, as well as in the design/development and evaluation of the ongoing and/or new program issues. Shall leverage industry tools and best practices such as Agile, SCRUM, Lean/Six Sigma, Continuous Process Improvement, and Lessons Learned Management to identify, analyze, develop, and utilize various concepts, solutions, and evaluative techniques in support of sharing data related to workforce management, training and development and other business services provided by the enterprise. The contractor participates as either a team leader or team member on cross functional teams designing and/or building solutions. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Ability to analyze complex data and situations, and provide clear, actionable insights. Strong capability to identify problems, think critically, and implement effective solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Collaboration and Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in teams or cross-functional environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Organizational Leadership, or similar fields. Certification by a reputable Senior Knowledge Management Institution, or 7+ years' Knowledge Management experience. CompTIA Security+ Certification is required for this position.
