Responsibilities:

The Knowledge Manager will manage process of planning, coordinating, managing, sharing, and controlling organization’s data assets.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

Manages databases for the storage, modification, and retrieval of informationPerforms information management functionsDevelops, provides, and educates users on work-flow capabilities and tools to comply with structured -electronic processes and flexibility to create/develop ad hoc courses of actions.Oversees organizations’ compliance and management of AF Portal and collaboration toolsProvides guidance to ensure publications and forms meet prescribed style, format, and legal and statutory requirementsCreates manual and electronic file plansComplies with Privacy Act (PA) and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) procedures and provides assistance to ensure others complyDocument and maintain an accurate and up to date records library;Document, process, file, and update databases and paper copy records to maintain accurate and up-to-date unit members’ recordsPro-actively interact with other departments and outside agencies to resolve issues as required in all areas related to technical publications

Qualifications:

Qualified Candidates Will Have:

10 years' experience.Completion of Knowledge Operations Management initial skills courseExperience of data architectures; records staging operations; and knowledge management capabilities.Experience performing or supervising functions such as knowledge management planning; liaison/outreach between units and customers and information integration/presentation.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organization skills

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field OR 4 more years experience in lieu of a degree.

Clearance requirement: Top Secret with SCI (TS/SCI)
