Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Knowledge manager to join our team! In this role you will get to provide content development and management, train users to apply good data management/records management practices according to command policies, help organize and standardize directorate content within their SharePoint websites, and make sure everything is properly tagged for optimized search and for records management compliance.
What You'll Be Doing:
Management, standardization, development and maintenance of SharePoint
Design websites so that there is a cohesive look, feel and functionality across the command.
Creating endpoints in the SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365 environment with Power Automate and work with the developers to share the content so that it can be actioned for visualizations
Training users to apply good data management/records management practices according to command policies
Organize and standardize directorate content within their SharePoint websites, and ensure everything is properly tagged for optimized search and for records management compliance.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Skill in management technologies.
Design, build, implement, and maintain a knowledge management framework utilizing MS SharePoint that provides end-users access to the organization’s intellectual capital.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline degree related to area of specialty
3 Years experience managing organizational level information
Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI government clearance which requires U.S. citizenship
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
Manage the indexing/cataloguing, storage, and access of explicit organizational knowledge (e.g., hard copy documents, digital files).
Construct access paths to suites of information (e.g., link pages) to facilitate access by end-users.
Knowledge of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data security standards.
Knowledge of an organization’s information classification program and procedures for information compromise.
