KPACT Youth Mentor

New River Valley Community Services' KPACT Program is seeking a full time KPACT Youth Mentor. KPACT provides community-based, direct services to children and adolescents who are at-risk of out of home placement. Youth Mentors work with a team of clinicians, mentors, and peers to assist in connecting clients with their community and needed resources. Additionally, Youth Mentors provide support to clients as they work to improve social skills, develop healthy and appropriate coping mechanisms, and increase positive family and social relationships.
Starting Hourly Rate: $16.26-Depending on Experience
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma is required. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in human services, or a related field and at least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental health, and/or substance abuse preferred. Experience working with adults, children, and families is preferred.Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages
