Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. Job Summary Manages assigned programs. Responsible for the achievement of premium and other objectives for those programs. Implements agent, district, state, zone or countrywide strategies independently or as part of a team. Essential Job Functions Manages and develops assigned programs to provide policy and premium growth. Programs assigned are of low to moderate complexity and have a low to moderate degree of visibility within the organization. Develops relationships with key agents, district managers, Company employees, and outside vendors to develop, deliver and manage programs to help drive Farmers premium. Provides agents, district managers, and company employees with consultative training, product and service information to help contribute to achievement of objectives. Implements special district, state, zone or departmental strategies as assigned. Utilizes company and/or outside vendor systems to process policies and changes. Utilizes technology (email, Vision, Internet, etc.) to manage program data and performance. Follows established compliance guidelines. Develops, enhances and follows best practices procedures. Monitors activity and trends regarding assigned programs and makes suggestions to capitalize on opportunities and minimize threats. Routinely records information about prospects, segmentation and contact activity, maintaining up-to-date data for use by business unit. Develops personal sales and program management techniques. Enhances knowledge of assigned products, programs, companies and markets through planned training activities and self-directed learning. Acts as liaison between business unit, outside vendors, and Company employees. Provides monthly status updates on assigned programs to outside vendors and to management team. Directs questions to the proper support groups. Performs all other duties as assigned. Physical Actions Required job duties as essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying 10 lbs maximum, bending, talking, and hearing.Physical Environment Required job duties are normally performed in a climate- controlled office environment.Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Property and Casualty license required during first 90 days in position if not previously acquired. Life and Health license preferred but not required.Experience Requirements1-3 years sales, marketing or insurance experience required. Experience with Kraft Lake preferred. Experience working with Farmers agents preferred. Understanding of transfers and acquisitions preferred.
Special Skill Requirement Basic PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Internet and Company programs. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Strong oral and written communication skills.Benefits
