Job DescriptionGathering information. Shoot, write and edit newsworthy events including breaking/spot news, general news and feature stories relevant.Collaborate with line producers, reporters and anchors to gather elements and assist in the production of news stories and interview segments.Collaborate with the Assignment Desk, Producers and Reporters to research news segments and place on appropriate platform.Use desktop editing systems to edit video including breaking news.Create digital video news products of day-of news stories using a variety of sources for multiplatform distribution – Website, App, Social Media, OTT and linear.Generate story ideas, research, and set up the content and interviewsSupport Reporters, Anchors and Photojournalists with content needs.Search wires and other partner sources for stories

In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progressCurrent class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)Must be bilingual in Spanish (written and verbal).  Must be 18 years of age or olderMust be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversalNeed to be able to work on-site in El Paso,TX
