Responsibilities & RequirementsJob Specific Duties:
The critical care RN functions as part of a team to provide direct patient care in mobile intensive care setting, with the assistance of other allied health professionals. They transport patients to a higher-level facility and provide advanced care to the most critical. This nursing role offers many unique opportunities for the ideal candidate, including:
1:1 patient ratio Progressive standing orders and medical scope of practice Utilizes specialized equipment including Ventricular Assist Device, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), ECMO, and transport ventilators.Plays an integral part in the regional Surgical Emergency Response Team (SERT), providing advanced surgical, stabilization, and transport capabilities for patients in the pre-hospital setting.This position offers opportunity for a two-week rotating schedule or a set three day per week schedule. Shifts are 12 hours in length and based out of our facility in Dayton, Ohio.
Operational Duties:
Performs regular assigned shift duties.Maintains cleaning standards of station(s), vehicle(s), and equipment.Completes detailed patient and operational reporting, in a timely manner.Participates in continuing education and skill competency programsActs as a preceptor and/or participates in orientation of new employees to cultivate culture and skillsets Preferred QualificationsEducation Requirements:
