KUJI YOUTH COORDINATOR

Summary

JOB SUMMARY: This position will focus primarily on assisting the KUJI Youth Coordinator Specialist in working with middle and high school aged youth that have been impacted by some form of community violence. The Kujichagulia (Kuji) program focuses on youth develop and engagement initiatives and was developed as an after-school (youth and young adults) 14-25 mentorship program that foster and strengthen youths’ professional, creative, and critical thinking skills with a goal to prevent further street violence and rebuild healthy and vibrant communities. It is a unique position, requiring collaboration with the PAAVE Program and the six Safe Streets sites. This position will provide youth an opportunity to engage in radio, podcasting, film, photography, written journalism, and apply critical thinking skills to the broadcast communication environment

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree required  1-3 years of experience
