KYC Operations Lead Analyst - C13
**The KYC Operations Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for leading Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight and regulatory reporting activities in coordination with the Compliance and Control team. The overall objective of this role is to lead in the development and management of a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi.** **Responsibilities:** **Serve as primary point of contact for bankers in completing documentation related to Know Your Client (KYC), account renewals and/or assigned projects** **Assist with assessing documentation requirements for client legal entities and liaise with internal Compliance personnel on the application of KYC policy** **Contact client personnel to obtain KYC information and documentation** **Review and evaluate recent news related to clients** **Interact with parent and subsidiary bankers and product sales and service on AML-related risk issues** **Coordinate with account operations on account maintenance issue** **Prepare client-specific KYC-related analyses, as required** **Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.** **Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.** **Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.** **Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.** **Qualifications:** **6-10 years of experience in internal control functions within the U.S.; particularly in AML/KYC, Operational Risk, legal or other control-related function in the financial services industry** **Good interpersonal skills, ability to interact with Senior Management, verbally and in written communications (Spanish and English)** **Attention to detail and ability to work under high-volume workload, prioritizing in an effective manner.** **Strong analytical and communication skills; with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through crisp and clear messaging** **Comfortable navigating complex, highly matrixed organizations** **Education:** **Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience** **Master's degree preferred** **Regulatory Change Management experience** **Project Management** **Policies & Procedures documentation and training** ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Operations - Services ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Business KYC ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
