We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Director in Shared Services and Banking Operations to be a member of the Global Client Onboarding Reference Data Services team interacting with operations teams, production management teams, change the bank, global financial crimes, and various other stakeholders from Morgan Stanley's various business areas.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Team Specialist position at Director level within Core Services, Client Onboarding Advisory Training Team which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products.

What you will do in the role:

Play a key role in defining, developing and enhancing the KYC Training and Accreditation Program for KYC Execution TeamsServe as a subject matter expert within the KYC function, working with change the bank, line teams, global financial crime and financial crime and risk to develop process and system relating training for new joiners and existing members of the KYC Execution TeamsCoordinate work, train and develop other team members where required, including task allocation, and project contributionAssisting the team in roll out of Change Training following a process, system, or regulatory updateWorking with the line teams to manage process/procedure changes including coordinating with stakeholders and highlighting risks, proposing improvements and implementing changesAct as a key point of contact for queries related to trainingResponsible for proactively managing the training repository updatesManage accreditation including maintenance of accreditation tracker globallyContribute to projects including but not limited to drafting procedures, assisting with file reviews for internal and external audits and taking part in working groups for large scale change within the KYC space

What you’ll bring to the role:

- Experience of completing KYC for a broad range of customer types including public and private companies, funds, partnerships, trusts and individuals from a maker or checker perspective
- A clear communicator with experience in delivering presentations or communications (written or verbal)
- Experience of providing new joiner training or buddying

- Ability to lead by example, work with drive and determination, and put forward challenging views to senior levels
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of functional area and operational/compliance policies and procedures of their team
- Ability to operate independently across the majority of day-to-day responsibilities
- Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values and acting as a role model
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to digest new information and learn new businesses and processes
- At least 4 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role


Role is hybrid and will require in office attendance 3 days/week.

Salary range for the position: $62,000 - $104,000 Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
