What You'll Do
The continuous growth of our consultants is of great importance at BCG. As a dynamic and organizationally strong event specialist (m/f/d) for the Central Europe Learning & Development area, you form an internal service department with other team members that works at the highest level both content-wise and organizationally, and you accompany our consultants through various training offerings on their path at BCG.
You are responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising training initiatives for our consultants, taking place in our brand-new CE L&D Campus in Berlin, going live 2025. In doing so, you serve as the contact person for the internal and external training team as well as the participants for all organizational questions. You organize the training processes, ensure smooth travel planning, and take care of the participant management. Moreover, you conduct the feedback process, create feedback analyses, identify needs for action, and make optimization suggestions. In addition, you are responsible for invoice verification and independently carry out monthly budget controlling as well as annual provisions. For this purpose, you create meaningful statistics and reports. With your affinity for data, you also take over the input, processing, and maintenance of data in our database, PowerPoint, and Excel, and provide support in the creation of presentations. Furthermore, you act as the interface to other internal departments (e.g., Recruiting, Staffing, Career Development) and participate in various internal projects. A hands-on mentality is crucial in this role, as it requires proactive problem-solving and a high level of initiative to ensure the smooth execution of all tasks.
What You'll Bring
You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship or a bachelor´s degree in event management, business administration, psychology or HR-related fields (or equivalent)Furthermore, you have initial professional experience, ideally in a service-oriented, internationally active company, preferably in the event /conference management sector and a hands-on mentalityYou are proficient in using the MS Office package (especially Excel and PowerPoint).Your English language skills are excellent, both verbally and in writing. You will work in a highly motivated team of fourteen event coordinators and colleagues working on training content, spread across five countries. Our teamwork is characterized by helpfulness, mutual respect, and trust. In addition, you will be in close exchange with the European and global Learning & Development teams as well as the local HR teams. Through the various interfaces, you will gain interesting insights into all Learning & Development and HR areas. You will report to the Central Europe Learning & Development Manager, who will also support you during your onboarding and further development within the company.
