They use training and best in class learning technology to prepare our frontline employees to provide the high-quality customer support Spectrum is known for.
BE PART OF THE CONNECTION
As a Learning and Development Writer, you’ll use input from a variety of different functional groups across Charter to synthesize and produce written content that is simple, easy to understand, and interesting to read. This content helps internal stakeholders quickly acquire the knowledge needed to successfully perform their assigned roles.
This role creates CoPilot content for the Account Management organization within Customer Operations.

Working with team members to create CoPilot content to help representatives succeed in their roleConducting research to obtain factual information and authentic detailUsing photographs, drawings, diagrams, and charts to increase users’ understanding of the learning contentUsing defined standards within Customer Operations L&D to determine a baseline for all learning assets to increase re-use and standardizationUsing content management systems to translate content into effective outputs, and various technologies (online learning platforms) for output tracking, accuracy, and fast turnaround timesEnsuring content is written with one-voice across platforms and mediaReviewing, editing, and tracking all training interactionsOn a given day, you’ll be contributing to the development of knowledge content services (quick reference guides, instructions, technical documents, playbooks/manuals) and non-facilitated learning (newsletters, articles, blogs, website content). If you write with passion, capable of both informing and engaging employees, this could be the role for you.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in English, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, Web Design, or related experience/certificationsExperience: 2 years or more experience in the following: Journalist/Professional Blogger; Technical Writer; Copywriter/Editor; Public Relations Agent: Research AssistantSkills: Demonstrated computer proficiency with writing tools (MS Office, digital editing, web search, databases) Abilities: Mastery of the English language and writing standards (e.g., grammar, punctuation, and spelling); Demonstrated portfolio of published content, articles, or relevant material; prioritize, organize, and deliver against multiple assignments to meet deadlines and fast turnaround timesSPECTRUM CONNECTS YOU TO MORE
