Job description

Infosys is seeking an L3 Scripting Engineer. This position you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Technical expertise:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 5+ yearsExpert in scripting in any of the following: Shell scripting / Perl ScriptingExperience developing large scale, enterprise class distributed system or subsystems that require high availability, low latency, & strong data consistency computing.Good Experience with version control systems such as GIT, SDLC, CI/CD -code check in & check out knowledge.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills and the ability to present complex ideas in a clear & concise way, a team player with a strong work ethics.Experience in problem solving skill / good debugging skillExperience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.

Will be a Plus:Experience in Application support, maintenance and analysis in Core Java, J2EE, anyRDBMS (Oracle/Sybase/DB2/SQL Server/PostgreSQL).Application support / Production support/ L3/L4 support, maintenance and analysis skills mandatoryBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.Good to have Autosys / any job schedule knowledge.Experience in Financial Services domain.
