LA Food Safety Sr. Manager

Make It With Pride.** You ensure deployment of Mondelēz International’s risk-based food safety management program from design to execution, including Internal Manufacturer, External Manufacturers, suppliers and trademark licensing agreements. **How you will contribute** You will support the business unit's global quality policies and capture operational feedback to help keep them up to date. You will also deploy food safety programs in your assigned area of responsibility. In addition, you will ensure that risk assessments are used as a key decision-making approach for product, process and package design safety and provide risk-based food safety verifications for suppliers, internal and external plants and warehouses. In this role, you will also support the effective management of operational food safety challenges at factories (including disposition decision making based on risk assessment and advice on risk management interactions with authorities), influence and partner with cross-functional peers, effectively communicating how food safety supports our company values, and implement a food safety culture across the organization. **What you will bring** A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: + Delivering risk-based food safety programs to drive commercial outcomes, ideally within fast moving consumer goods environment + Influencing food safety strategy, providing operational observations and practical input that translates into significant business benefit + Collaborating to complete the agenda by working effectively across functions, geographies, and with internal and external + Relentless curiosity and a continuous improvement mentality + Building an internal network that allows for effective communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement + Deep knowledge and proven experience with HACCP and Microbiology programs (GMP, Environmental Pathogen Monitoring, Quality Policies, etc.); + Knowledge of Quality processes and systems (ISO, CODEX, etc.); + Ability to identify, develop, and communicate Food Safety strategies; + Ability to apply and communicate technical issues to address business opportunities related to Food Safety. + Extensive experience in Food Safety within the food market (Chocolate, Dairy, Meat Processing, etc.); + Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work in a highly diverse cultural environment, and adapt to fast decision-making in complex scenarios. + Availability for travel: 25% to 30% within LATAM (with potential for global travel for meetings and team building); + Fluent in English and Spanish.
