Job Description Summary: The Weston lab in the Department of Geography and the Environment seeks an undergraduate field and laboratory assistant to assist with projects focused on understanding coastal ecosystem response to climate change and land use change. Field work will consist of visiting sites in the Delaware River Estuary (NJ/DE) and Plum Island Estuary (MA) for work in marshes and estuaries. Applicants should be comfortable conducting field work sometimes uncomfortable conditions (hot, muddy, and buggy) while maintaining a positive attitude. The student will gain experience in field work, laboratory sample analysis, and data workup.
