Actalent is now hiring a Lab Assistant in Rockwall, TX! Job Description: Join our team as a QC Lab Technician, and play a pivotal role in producing high-performance lubricants. Your main responsibilities will include creating and managing COA’s and COC’s for customers, uploading all batch tickets into a computer system, filing all notebook testing requirements, completing all JDE/Excel testing changes per daily MOC changes, raw material testing, and keeping track of calibration dates. You will also be assigned projects by the Lab Manager and assist with TDS testing when requested. You'll be working from Monday to Friday, between 8am and 5pm. We value teamwork, so you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with various departments to ensure our lubricants meet the highest standards. Skills: Associates or Bachelors of Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science) *NEW GRADS WELCOMED* Lab testing experience with raw materials from school or work - MUST be familiar with pH, viscosity and titrations, HPLC, weighing samples Excellent computer and math skills - including Excel and Word knowledge Minimum 1 year experience of QA/QC experience OR 1 year of work experience in a fast paced role (restaurant or retail) About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
