Lab Assistant Job Description As a Lab Assistant, you will handle accessioning duties, receive packages from clients, and confirm that all slides and wax blocks are included. Each package represents a new case. You will enter the data into the LIS system (EPIC Beaker), print draft cases, and assign and deliver them to the pathologist. This role requires high levels of organization and attention to detail.
