**Lab Assistant** Laboratory Columbus, OH, US Pay Rate Low: 23 | Pay Rate High: 24.00 + Added - 23/01/2025 Apply for Job **Pay Rate:** $23/hr **Hours** : 1st shift M-F **Location** : Columbus, OH **Terms** : 1 year contract with possibility of conversion/extension (position open due to current contractor converting on full time!) **The Position:** This individual will fulfill the requirements of maintaining general laboratory operations to support clinical and nonclinical studies. **Primary Responsibilities Include:** • Laboratory supply stocking and replying to supply queries • Lab cleaning and organization • Aid/support in general equipment maintenance • Occasionally supports other operations such as package receipt and intake, and waste management • Aide research teams in responsibilities, including but not limited to the following: • Study preparation and study closure activities • Lab-specific consumable stocking • Basic laboratory procedures • Freezer inventory • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support general operations and associated activities. • SOP drafting and review • Communicate regularly and thoroughly with manager and research teams • Performs related job duties as required **Desired Education and Skills:** • Prior lab or relevant experience required • Ability to strictly adhere to laboratory SOPs is required • Ability to handle a multi-task workload is required • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are necessary • Experience using sample and equipment management software is preferred INDBH We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
