Works in various areas of the clinical and anatomic pathology laboratories. Duties may include registering patients, ordering tests, collecting samples, and assessing the acceptability of samples for testing. + Verifies and monitors all specimens received in laboratory for accurate packaging, labeling, and correct specimen collection requirements and are received appropriately. + Maintains accurate and complete documentation on processes/procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance, ensuring compliance with all accreditation regulations. + Observes universal precautions, barrier protection methods and infection control and isolation procedures when working with body fluids and other contagions to ensure a safe work environment. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** + A high school diploma or equivalent preferred and two years of experience. + Degree in Biology, Science or related major may be considered in lieu of experience. **JOIN OUR TEAM TODAY!** Emory Healthcare (EHC), part of Emory University (EUV), is the most comprehensive academic health system in Georgia and the first and only in Georgia with a Magnet® designated ambulatory practice.
