Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking to hire a skilled Laboratory Assistant for their client in Bohemia, NY location / Job Type -Temp Shift Hours - 8am to 5pm (M-F) Pay - 28.00 to 29.86/HR **Job Summary-** The Lab assistance provides support to the R&D Sr Scientists by preparing samples for external testing, submitting samples to the labs, uploading results and preparing documentations, collect information to support risk assessment. **Roles and Responsibilities -** + Maintain documentation, restorability and process according to the quality system in place, instructions and tools which are directly related to sample management + Weight samples (ingredients and finished product) and submission to external Laboratories. + Creation of Analytical request, Upload and organize results. + Organize and manage stability samples according to the protocols.Timely reporting of consolidated results and trends to the functions concerned. + Reporting of abnormalities via notification and take immediate corrections. **Academic Experience:** Apprenticeship programs or Bachelor's degree or equivalent (microbiology, chemistry, food technology or other related fields) **Operational Experience** :Previous experience in another laboratory or analytical environmentis an asset.
