Job Title: Lab ChemistJob Description
The individual will be responsible, under the supervision of a Branch Manager, for managing projects from start-up to completion. In addition, you will be expected to develop good client and regulatory relations.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct experiments (PH testing, particle size) on water and soil samples
+ Analyze data and document all data according to environmental standards
+ Maintain equipment and a clean lab, including washing glassware
+ Record results accurately
+ Work effectively as part of a team
+ Complete documentation of all activities with follow-up reporting
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Environmental Science (0+ years of experience)
+ Diploma with 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience
+ Experience with PH testing and particle size analysis
+ Project and time management capabilities
+ Ability to write reports, logs, SOPs, and file permits
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ A creative leader who is goal-driven and detail-oriented
+ Strong problem-solving, analytical, and employee relations skills
Work Environment
The work is primarily performed in the lab onsite at the Woodstown TSDF facility for 8-10 hours per day. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. To reduce exposure to materials, workers often wear coveralls, gloves, shoe covers, safety glasses, and additional PPE. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a Licensed Chemical Engineer and Branch Manager. As the lone Chemist, you will gain valuable training and experience in the Environmental field. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
