Job Title: Lab Chemist
Job Description

The individual will be responsible, under the supervision of a Branch Manager, for managing projects from start-up to completion. Additionally, the Lab Chemist will be expected to develop good client and regulatory relations.

ResponsibilitiesConducting experiments such as pH testing and particle size analysis on water and soil samples.Analyzing data and ensuring all data is documented according to environmental standards.Maintaining equipment, including keeping the lab clean and washing glassware.Recording results accurately.Ability to work effectively with a team.Completing documentation of all activities and providing follow-up reporting.Essential SkillsKnowledge of chemistry and laboratory procedures.Experience with pH testing and particle size analysis.Excellent project and time management capabilities.Ability to write reports, logs, SOPs, and file permits.Additional Skills & QualificationsBS in Chemistry or Environmental Science with 0+ years of experience.Diploma with 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience.A creative leader who is goal-driven and detail-oriented.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and employee relations skills.Work Environment

The work is primarily performed in the lab onsite at the Woodstown TSDF facility for 8-10 hours per day. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. To reduce exposure to materials, workers often wear coveralls, gloves, shoe covers, safety glasses, and additional PPE. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a Licensed Chemical Engineer and Branch Manager. As the lone Chemist, you will gain valuable training and experience in the environmental field. This facility is one of three TSDS facilities that is not tied to emergency response. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
