Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Compounder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for compounding samples for R&D and the Applications groups, including revision trial runs, application samples, and outgoing sample requests. The Compounder will also manage general lab maintenance and supply stock.
ResponsibilitiesAccurately weigh and use a scale for measurements.Organize and maintain the raw material library.Clean and maintain work area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.Prepare compounded samples for customers.Manage miscellaneous inventories for the lab area.Assist in inventory control.Issue purchase orders (POs) for supply inventory.Assist with simple applications as needed by Scientists.Calibrate scales and ensure accurate measurements.Read and follow recipe instructions precisely.Essential SkillsProficiency in laboratory skills.Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to perform conversions and calculate percentages.Experience using a scale to weigh ingredients.Knowledge of chemistry and compounding techniques.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociates degree in the sciences preferred. Previous laboratory compounding or testing experience in a regulated environment is a plus.Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, in a lab environment.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00
