Description - Our client is looking for an IT resource to help support MSAT team (Manufacturing, Science & Technology). - Support the end-user desktop including, but not limited to, troubleshooting issues, implementing approved software, and removing older software versions - Setting-up, maintenance and administration of end user computer devices and related Lab applications including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations - Troubleshooting of lab instruments\lab computer systems interfaces. Assist in data storage solutions and the tracking of Lab assets - Take an active role in the Incident Response and Problem Management processes, representing the desktop environment. Provide root cause analysis for problems and measures to mitigate future occurrences for re-occurring issues - Duties will include troubleshooting and repair of OS's, MS Office Suite products including Outlook email and calendar issues, a variety of 3rd party software applications, hardware issues, laptop parts replacement, imaging, data wiping, asset control, and detailed ticket documentation - Work with instrument vendors as needed in troubleshooting network or connection issues - New PC and refresh deployments are also part of the duties - Provide positive customer experiences when working with users Skills Active directory, Office 365, Lab support, Technical support, Windows 10, Lab equipment Additional Skills & Qualifications Candidates must be personable and have great customer service skills. Also, it is an FDA regulated environment, so candidates must be responsible and possess great problem solving skills. This role is listed as a 6 month contract but will be extended and has potential to flip perm. Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.
