The Lab Information System Analyst Internship responsibilities include: 

Working closely with a team of systems analysts to assist in the implementation and support of a variety of applications that support day to day functions throughout our hospitals (specifically around Labs, Pathology and Inpatient Orders)   Participating in developing and implementing solutions for users in their daily workflows  Meeting with Lab Operations to understanding concern and translate requirements into functional requirements, ultimately using system capabilities to improve their workflows  Use of PowerPoint presentations, application test scripts, workflow diagrams, and SQL/Crystal reports
