Right now we're looking for a Manufacturing Supervisors to join our growing team in Lawrenceville, GA.
The hours for the role are: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday 4:00 pm to 4:30 am.
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily functions of the production departments including meeting production goals, hiring and developing staff, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for associates.
Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the supporting both the hardware and software for the Lab DVI system (optical manufacturing Lab Manufacturing, Supply Chain, & DC system and application). This role acts as both a help desk for personnel and manages all platforms within Lab Manufacturing, Supply Chain, & DC.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions
• Maintains and supports the DVI system assisting users and leadership in all aspects of both hardware and software; including hardware interfaces between DVI and all equipment and conveyor systems.
• Provides and manages month-end closing lab reporting to corporate accounting.
• Assists Lens Inventory management/physical inventory within the DVI system. Creates custom queries and reporting within the DVI system.
• Provides for Time Keeping hardware/software interfacing with Payroll.
• Manages Lab security systems including alarm systems, cameras and badge systems.
• Interfaces w/ Corporate IT regarding AS400, JDA, SDS, Serve and the National Vision (NVI) Portal.
• Installs and maintains NVI network interfaces, workstations and printers.
• Upkeeps Lab phone system.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problem jobs using DVI, SDS and Optical experience.
• Fixes common errors and notifies vendors/maintenance to assist with escalated issues.
• Ensures system jobs are completed in a timely manner, keeps daily log to track running times and notifies leadership if jobs are running slower than normal.
• Monitors all printers and print jobs and fixes any problems. Researches and tests new equipment to train and will assist with training/implementation. Troubleshoot and resolve problem jobs using DVI, SDS and Optical experience
Additional Functions/Responsibilities
• Handles on call emergencies through remote or onsite access.
• Assists staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop/laptop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
• Completes internal/external quarterly and annual IT audit reporting
