ARSIEM is looking for a Lab Manager 1. This position will support one of our Government clients in Annapolis Junction, ResponsibilitiesMaintain lab system infrastructure (e.g., desktop workstations, the lab computer network, server computers, backup systems, power and cooling systems, IT asset management systems, printers, scanners, and other peripherals).Minimum ExperienceBachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of experience: installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various IT devices and lab environments to support development and testing for Windows, UNIX, and Linux; managing lab property and licenses; and performing or assisting with inventory efforts. Four (4) years of lab management experience on projects of similar scope may be substituted for a CapabilitiesManage a diverse software development lab or similar environment, such as a data centerCreate and manage an IT and Asset management inventory databaseDocument lab and network configurationsPrepare hardware and software testing environmentsPerform software and hardware installs and upgrades, troubleshooting and maintaining Windows, UNIX, Linux, and proprietary environments.Manage software, hardware, licenses, and spare parts inventoryPerform operations, administration, maintenance, and provisioning (OAM&P) of networksPerform networking in Internet Protocol {IP), , or vendor-proprietary environmentsClearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role? If you do, ARSIEM has a way for you to earn a bonus through our referral program for persons presenting NEW (not in our resume database) candidates who are successfully placed on one of our projects. The bonus is $5,000, and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches 6 months of employment.
