Lab Manager

Description

•\tCreate formulations in support of operations

•\tPrepare materials per SOP's and work instructions

•\tAssist in the management of existing lab operations systems and processes to maximize lab productivity and organization

•\tSupport ongoing laboratory operations with an emphasis on ordering, receiving, stocking, storage and distribution of all lab items

•\tEnsure that safety protocols are in place and are being followed

•\tEnsure the lab is well maintained, exceeds safety standards, and remains clean and orderly

•\tClean glassware and monitor levels to ensure adequate supply for support of operations

•\tPrecisely follow standard operating procedures and other written procedures, and maintain accurate records of work performed

•\tReport problems, issues, and unexpected observations timely

Additional Skills & Qualifications

•\tBasic knowledge of scientific laboratory procedures, techniques, equipment and apparatus used in a chemistry laboratory

•\tBasic knowledge of health and safety practices and precautions applicable to a laboratory setting

•\tEffective and safely operate, adapt, and maintain laboratory equipment

•\tUtilize computer hardware and software

•\tKeep detailed and precise records

•\tCommunicate and work effectively and cooperatively with lab technicians, engineers, research associates, etc.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
