Exciting opportunity to be part of our Catalyst division located in Louisville, KY. You in this position will mainly work in the Custom Catalyst Research and Development group as Lab Scientist. This includes serving as technical lead of R&D projects, developing new products, supporting catalyst productions and overall customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
You will perform pilot-scale, small-scale, and bench-scale catalyst preparation Responsibilities in assisting process development and scale up with model catalytic system You will carry out experimental data analysis, interpretation, and summary Interact with both internal and external customers on a regular basis to provide product updates and explanations in a consultative manner Develop catalyst preparation methods Coordinate of catalyst preparation/production schedules with Plant and Testing You will be responsible for keeping a very organized and detailed laboratory notebook Responsible for writing project reports and technical papers Maintain equipment and troubleshoot problems Sustain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemist or Chemical Engineer preferred (we will also consider candidates with significant years of experience directly related Catalyst manufacturing) Work experience or training with state-of-the-art techniques for catalyst preparation (highly preferred) Excellent communication, technical, and organizational skills. Strong hands-on computer skills including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to work independently with little to no supervision at times. Should have a safety mentality and willingness to lead without formal authority.
