**About the Role:**
As a Laboratory Services Lead, you will assist managing the team responsible for providing Laboratory Services to selected clients in Ireland. This role is part of the Full Spectrum Lab Services organisation and sits within the Critical and Technical Services job function. Services may include:
+ Laboratory Equipment Asset Management
+ Laboratory Equipment Maintenance & Repair
+ Third Party Vendor Contract Management
+ General Lab Services (Glass Wash, Consumables, Waste Management)
+ Technical Lab Services (Equipment set-up and tear-down, QC set-up)
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Manages, directs, and schedules day-to-day and long-range activities for defined Pharma Services scope and ensures that all programs and procedures of the Pharma Services staff are being properly implemented to meet contractual Service Level Agreements.
+ Reviews work to ensure compliance with performance, safety, statutory, regulatory requirements, company policies, standards, and procedures.
+ Supports the development and administration of department budget, and ensures program costs are managed within budget. Reviews and approves all expenditures for tools, equipment, supplies, materials and additional contract requirements.
+ Processes performance metrics; tracks, analyzes, and reports performance in terms of quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction. Takes corrective action to bring about required change and ensures contract requirements have been executed at a level above the specified standards.
+ Manage contractor specifications, problems/issues, performance, and administration.
+ Ensures supply of spare parts and consumables for in-scope Pharma Services.
+ Manages the day-to-day operations, ensuring services are provided in a cost-effective, safe, timely, and compliant manner in accordance with the approved budget and the contractual obligations specified by the customers.
+ Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
+ Works closely with the onsite FM teams to ensure a seamless delivery of services to the client.
+ Prepares and Supports Client Governance meetings.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Experience of leading service delivery in laboratory environments or managing laboratory operations, including Asset Management, Lab Equipment Maintenance, General Lab Services & Technical Lab Services.
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
+ Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Demonstrated experience in managing customer relationships to diverse stakeholder groups
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
+ Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
