We are seeking a Lab Technician - 2nd Shift to work in our Rhome, TX facility. This person provides lab services, follows standard procedures, and works with cross-functional teams. The position ensures that all regulatory requirements are adhered to while performing work functions.

Compensation: The starting pay is $23.00 per hour or more, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Lab Supervisor, conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on incoming and outgoing products for quality control Ensure proper documentation is obtained and Certificates of Analysis are provided as required Ensure laboratory equipment and inventory levels for laboratory supplies are maintained Follow standard operating procedures and maintain proper records for regulatory compliance Assist in maintaining an active AHRI Accreditation through successful quarterly testing Maintain safety standards within the lab and operations Other duties as reasonably assigned.

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

College Degree preferred Previous experience in laboratory/quality control environment Gas chromatography and KF titration familiarity Understanding of regulatory compliance and certifications- AHRI, EPA, DOT, OSHA desired An excellent understanding of the pressurized equipment directive and its requirements preferred Knowledge of the HVAC industry and experience that includes working with refrigerants and/or fire suppression agents a plus Hazmat Certification and EPA 608 license obtained within 90 days of employment

Physical Demand Requirements:

Frequently pushes, pulls, moves, and lifts up to 50 pounds independently Frequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information such as serial numbers Stands for long periods of time
