Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description Seeking a diligent Lab Technician to join our dynamic R&D team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for compounding samples, maintaining sanitation and organization of the lab, preparing finished products, conducting product analyses, and recording pertinent data in computer systems. Additionally, the role involves ordering or picking raw materials from the plant, managing sample shipping needs, and assisting in production processing. This position requires the ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently. A 2–3-week training period in production will be provided to ensure proficiency in all tasks. Hard Skills + Previous compounding and weighing experience + Experience with lab scales, kitchen utensils, mixers, and ingredients + Proficiency in calculations (ratios, decimals, percentages) related to seasoning formulae + Demonstrated data entry and basic PC skills, including Excel and Word + Comfort with food product preparations (baking, frying, etc.) Soft Skills + Proven accuracy and strong attention to detail + Good communication skills (written and verbal) + Ability to work within a team environment and independently + Demonstrated problem-solving skills Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Oakland, New Jersey. Work Environment Working on R&D team in a lab environment. Shift is Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.
