About the job

We are currently seeking a Lab Technician.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Incumbent will perform ZRT’s established production tests, which may involve the use of LC-MS/MS and/or GC-MS/MSClinical and research sample management, preparation, and analysisWorking with liquid and dried human blood, urine and saliva samplesWorking with mass spectrometers (LC-MS, GC-MS, ICP-MS)Operate and maintain a wide range of instrumentationPreparing reagents, managing inventory, and equipment maintenanceRotation between laboratory areas as neededOccasional method development and improvement tasks

Job Responsibilities:

Bachelor's degree in any life science with at least one year of experience in one or more of the methods aboveMust have on the job experience with LC-MS, GC-MS or ICP-MS OR 3+ years very recent experience in a clinical or research laboratoryAble to work independently and without direct supervision, and to perform multiple tasks simultaneouslyMust be well organized, have good attention to detail and possess good analytical skillsDo you have either on the job Mass Spectrometry experience OR at least three years of very recent clinical or research laboratory experience?
