Temp-to-Hire position$17.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Sunday through Saturday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)•Ensure that all program and procedures are followed and implemented as described by the company guidelines.
•Maintain a high degree of quality, while working efficiently and cost effectively
.•Responsible for processing and analyzing samples collected from the farms under direct supervision of the Laboratory Lead Technician or designee.
Lab Technician Qualifications:
• Maintain sufficient inventory of supplies to prevent work delays
• Accurately process and analyze samples in a time efficient manner
• Follow procedures outlined in the laboratory work instructions
• Prepare media and solutions used in the laboratory (as role requires)
• Enter samples and results into data management system
• Be willing to work weekend rotations
• Ensure all possible controls are in place to preserve and protect the purity and security of samples from possible contamination, loss or damage.
• Attendance is expected and required during normal working hours or during the assigned working schedule determined by the supervisor.
